As birth professionals, Harmony doulas are dedicated to supporting and empowering birthing families during the childbearing year. In addition to providing emotional and physical support during labor and delivery, we can facilitate communication with hospital staff to ensure that you have the information you need to make informed decisions regarding your baby’s birth. We provide reassurance and perspective to you and your birth partner(s), make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for your comfort.
What does a birth doula package include?
Harmony doulas provide support via email, text and phone, addressing any concerns you may have about your pregnancy and upcoming birth. We will have at least one prenatal visit, be on call for at least 10-days prior to your due date, the doula(s) will attend your birth, and we will meet for one postpartum visit. We would be happy to accompany you to one of your prenatal appointments with your primary care provider, if you wish.
